Data collection on this cruise took place between August 31 2008 and Sept 12 2008, in the Santa Barbara Channel. On this cruise we measured both the upwelling and downwelling spectral polarized radiance distribution, the downwelling sky spectral polarized radiance distribution, and the Aerosol optical depth. The aerosol optical depth is available through the NASA Aeronet MAN data set (links through aeronet.gsfc.nasa.gov) and will be available on this web page soon. The skyradiance distribution data is available through the link to the right on radiance distribution in the atmosphere.

Note that one of the booms on FLIP was broken during this experiment, so there was time using the boom to look at downwelling light was limited.
